More Than a Passport Application

The Passport Looks Like a Regular United States Passport
One of the most common questions we receive is:
"Will my passport look different?"
No.
The passport itself is issued by the United States Department of State and appears like another United States passport.
The distinction taught by HIS Advocates concerns the position expressed through the application and supporting documentation, rather than the physical appearance of the passport.
A passport issued by the Department of State may be used for international travel subject to the same laws, regulations, restrictions, and entry requirements that apply to United States passports generally.
How the Program Works
Step 1 — Pay Above

Step 2 — Complete Your Training
Before approaching the application as merely a paperwork exercise, you will receive educational materials explaining the concepts behind the HIS Advocates process.
The goal is for you to understand what you are doing rather than simply copying language you do not understand.
Step 3 — Prepare Your Application
You will work through the passport application process and associated supporting documentation with guidance from HIS Advocates.
If you already have a passport or passport card, the program can also provide education regarding the reapplication process.
Step 4 — Prepare for Your Passport Appointment
Before submitting your application through an authorized passport acceptance facility, you receive additional preparation and support.
We help you understand what documentation you are presenting and what questions may arise during submission.
Step 5 — Address Additional Correspondence
The Department of State may request clarification, documentation, corrections, or additional information.
If that happens, the program includes assistance and educational support concerning the additional paperwork and correspondence involved.
Step 6 — Obtain Your Certified Application Records
After completing the passport process, we teach you how to request certified copies of the passport application maintained by the Department of State.
For many participants, preserving a certified record of the application is an important part of documenting the position they expressed during the process.
This Is the Beginning — Not the End
The State Citizenship Passport Assistance Program should not be viewed as a magical document that instantly changes every relationship you have with government agencies, financial institutions, courts, licensing authorities, or other organizations.
HIS Advocates teaches that the passport process may be an early step in a much broader educational journey involving citizenship, contracts, government agencies, and private living.
Participants who want to continue their education can do so through the Living in the Private community and additional HIS Advocates resources.

Is this a different-looking passport?
No. The passport itself is issued by the United States Department of State and looks like other United States passports.
Can the passport be used for international travel?
A valid passport issued by the Department of State is a United States travel document. International travel remains subject to applicable U.S. laws and the entry requirements of foreign countries.
Does HIS Advocates guarantee that the Department of State will accept my position?
No.
HIS Advocates provides education, preparation assistance, documentation, and support. We do not guarantee that any governmental agency will accept a particular claim, status characterization, application wording, or requested treatment.
Does this program eliminate my debts?
No.
The program does not:
Pay or discharge mortgages
Eliminate credit-card debt
Eliminate utility bills
Create access to secret Treasury accounts
Teach the use of fraudulent payment instruments
Automatically eliminate tax obligations
Automatically terminate contracts
Dismiss criminal charges

Is this a "sovereign citizen" program?
No.
HIS Advocates expressly states that its State Citizenship Passport Assistance Program has nothing to do with claiming to be a "sovereign citizen."
Does this eliminate the need for a driver's license?
No.
The Passport Assistance Program does not provide immunity from motor-vehicle licensing, registration, insurance, or traffic laws.
Will this automatically change my status with every government agency?
No.
A passport application does not automatically change records or relationships maintained by the Social Security Administration, IRS, Department of Justice, state agencies, licensing agencies, financial institutions, courts, or other organizations.
Different agencies have their own procedures and requirements.
Will this automatically protect my Social Security or other government benefits?
No guarantees are made regarding Social Security, retirement, disability, veterans, Medicare, Medicaid, or other governmental benefits.
Anyone whose benefits could be affected by a legal or administrative decision should obtain appropriate professional advice before acting.
What if I already have a passport?
The program includes education concerning reapplication for participants who already possess a passport.
Existing passports and passport cards may need to be submitted with a new application depending upon Department of State requirements applicable to your circumstances.
Are government passport fees included?
No.
Any fees charged by the Department of State, USPS, clerk of court, passport acceptance facility, or other governmental entity are separate from the HIS Advocates Passport Assistance Program foundation amount.
